Anonymous said: Salutations, Mr. Ben Levin, Sir! What do you, as a writer, think about Disney's 'Gravity Falls'?
Greetings! As a writer, I think it’s a really funny TV show. As a time traveler from the 18th century, I think it’s evil black magic coming out of a science box!

Comic-Con Exclusive: Cartoon Network Renews 'Adventure Time,' 'Regular Show,' 3 More
Cartoon Network is bringing good news for five of its animated series hosting panels at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con: renewals. The cable network is poised to announce renewals for animated series Adventure Time, Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe and Clarence at their respective panels at the annual geek convention, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Check out this awesome news!
Some people might be confused: didn’t Steven Universe already get renewed for a second season?
Answer: No, it didn’t! It received a PICK-UP for it’s first season, putting us at 52 11-minute episodes. This second season is ANOTHER 52 episodes of Steven Universe! THAT’S 104 EPISODES OF STEVEN UNIVERSE. THEY ARE COMING. EVENTUALLY. GET EXCITED.
It’s official - we’re making lots more Steven Universe episodes! If Steven Universe had a catch phrase, I would write it here. But he doesn’t. So… yay!

We have up to episode 36 complete and ready to air.
There are several others in different stages of production though, and many are close to final. Though the airing has gone on hiatus, the production schedule is uninterrupted. We’re completing shows for 2015 and in production on shows for 2016.

Anonymous said: Is Rose/could Rose be blind?
I love that this is a theory.
When Rose closes her eyes she is blind, as most of us are when we close our eyes.
Matt came up with that answer.

Anonymous said: Is Dave Guy based around someone?
We weren’t thinking of anyone in particular when we wrote Dave Guy into the outline for “Onion Trade”. Lamar Abrams, who wrote and storyboarded the episode, basically designed Dave Guy. I think he was just drawing someone who looked boring.
